The Ground Court

A basketball court, a place where everyone comes together, a places where flight takes place, and a place that keeps itself grounded, The Ground Court will take what the site gives it and builds it up with what’s being given from the ground it stands. The core material binding the project together, earth, is the physical manifestation of building with what’s being given with the site and a reflection of the nature that was once there in the site of Eveleigh. While the site isn’t what it once was during its most natural form, its connection to the railways and the former forests and swamp is still on the soil it stands on.
